Project Introduction
The development of this platform arose from a specific need: to optimize Vantrust Capital's treasury management to automate key processes, improve the visibility of cash flows, and take full control of financial operations from a single place.
Challenge
The treasury team faced a high operational burden due to the manual reconciliation of bank accounts, especially when identifying the source of funds by client and linking them to merchant accounts. This created friction and prolonged management times, affecting traceability and operational agility.
Solution
An automatic integration was developed and implemented between the accounts registered with national banks and an operational platform that allows real-time reading of balances and transactions.
In parallel, a platform was created for the automatic generation of bank payroll files, adapted to the formats, schedules, and specific limits of each registered bank.
Process
After analyzing the client’s requirements and identifying action points, a connection was established with the banks, retrieving updated balances and transactions to automatically identify and reconcile movements with merchant accounts.
On the other hand, reconciliation and transfer flows were piloted, allowing for the validation and adjustment of rules, before scaling the solution.
Result
The administrative burden on the treasury team decreased by 30% to 40% thanks to the automation of account reconciliation. This not only improved the department’s efficiency but also laid the foundation for applying the solution to 100% of the received banking transactions.
Furthermore, the transfer process is more agile, secure, and in compliance with the standards of each financial institution.
