Project Introduction
Agrosuper needed a solution to a critical operational need: having greater control over the entry and exit of workers on their farms, without compromising the strict biosecurity standards. This technological initiative was born with the goal of digitalizing the process, ensuring protocol compliance, and improving field operational management.
Challenge
Deliver a system to Agrosuper that displays information about the entry and exit of workers attending the company’s different farms. The platform needed to be able to maintain data traceability and allow entry or exit according to the established business rules.
Solución
A platform was designed with maintainers for the base configuration of the system. In this way, protocols would be applied to control the entry and exit of workers via their identification cards. The system also had to include an administration dashboard for decision-making.
Process
The Scrum framework was used, with two-week iterations based on the prioritization of the Product Owner’s backlog. The ceremonies of the framework were key to achieving effective communication among the project participants.
Result
A system was delivered that allows users to monitor and enforce the established protocols to prevent individuals who do not meet the criteria from entering certain facilities, preventing infections or disease transmission among animals, thus avoiding potential production losses.
